We are proud to reveal Stronghold Crusader 2, the long awaited sequel to fan-favourite medieval RTS Stronghold Crusader which has sold over two million copies to date. Crusader 2 is currently being developed independently by Firefly Studios, with plans to release the game on September 2nd 2014.
Our Gamescom 2013 trailer provides a first look at gameplay, demonstrating new units like the mounted Sassanid Knight, Crusader Sergeant and cruel Slave Driver. New features include skirmish mode and 8-player multiplayer with 8 different AI characters to choose from. An all-new co-op mode will also feature, allowing two players to control the same troops, resources and castle.
